school

Here is my school photo. It was taken the week after I enrolled so I was still somewhat skeptical of the situation. I love my school now and I count the days between Tuesday and Thursday and Thursday and Tuesday.

We are keeping this news a bit quiet but I recently received my acceptance letter to the best private school in Austin. When my mom went there on Thursday to drop off my enrollment forms, they wanted her to be sure that she knows just how special I am. For September of 2012, they opened only one spot for a three year old and I was the successful candidate of the 38 children who applied. It was a grueling screening process and we are relieved that it is over. That school goes through the elementary grades.

Now I have to break the sad news to my current preschool and my dear friends that I need to move on at the end of this school year. I will be missed. This current preschool has worked out perfectly.

Check your mailbox . . . I will be sending school photos soon.

sweetheart breakfast

Here is a photo of me enjoying the sweetheart breakfast at my preschool yesterday.

The party was aptly named since I have a new girlfriend. Raquel. She is fiercely opinionated and the teachers say she is a firecracker. Teachers don't normally say things like that about kids so you can just imagine what Raquel is like.

My mom and my sister attended the breakfast party with me. My mom was certain that pancakes would be served but no such luck. Instead, we had muffins (or cupcakes, as I call them), fruit, bagels, and juice. It was delicious. I ate all of my food and my mom's and my sister's too.

This weekend, I need to write my Valentine cards. I have a lot of friends and several girlfriends. I make a habit of talking to my girlfriends about the other girls I love. Is that bad style?

My mom is making me peanut butter cookies this weekend for Valentine's Day. After not caring much about peanut butter previously, I have just jumped on the bandwagon and it is all I want to eat.

February 5, 2009

Here is a photo of me on February 5, 2009. I measured 140mm. It is impossible to tell that I was going to be a boy (SURPRISE) but it is obvious just how cute I would be.

Today I am almost 34 inches tall but my dad is certain that I grew at least two inches during the night. I have been eating everything in sight, and then having seconds and sometimes thirds. And I slept quite late today (by my standards) until I had to wake up to tell my dad to PLEASE stop snoring. My dad has a chronic snoring problem though he denies it. I can do a perfect impression of him snoring.
