my mom's birthday

I didn't realize that other people celebrated birthdays too. I get so many of them.

On my mom's birthday, I sure was cute. You can probably guess from these two photos that we spent much of the day outside. We got up. Played. Ate some breakfast (all I remember is the Whole Foods zucchini muffins) but I think my mom made smoothies for us but I didn't like it because it had cherries in it. Played outside. Went for a walk. Napped. Woke up. Ate lunch. Played outside. Walked my baby. (I adopted this sweet baby from a little boy who goes to the Waldorf school.) Went to the playground.

My dad went to the playground with us. On the way home, we stopped at the Italian Market to buy a piece of cake but ended up having dinner there. We had pizza with pesto sauce since I describe tomato sauce as scary. The Italian Market was nice. They have little kid-sized tables there and a bocce ball court out back. I didn't sit for long but my mom was able to eat her dinner.

The best part of the day was the Chunky Monkey that we had with the cake.
